La Locanda La Motta nasce nel cuore della Pianura Padana lungo l’antica strada degli argini che costeggiando il fiume Po conduce da Cremona a Casalmaggiore.
Nel XII secolo la zona venne bonificata dai monaci benedettini che fondarono il Ricovero di San Cataldo della Motta, da allora il paese divenne per i viandanti un luogo di rifugio e ristoro.
The tourist guides’ association “Il Ghirlo” was born in 2000 in Crema and it includes some professional tourist guides from Cremona and Lodi. The founders are Monica Alchieri (archaeologist and teacher), Silvia Merico (expert in history of art and teacher), Annunziata Miscioscia (expert in history of art), Monica Scorsetti (expert in history of art, archivist and teacher), and, since 2008, Renzo Colliva (expert in history of art and teacher).

Ci son cose che non possono cambiare, soprattutto la ricetta! Il sapore del nostro torrone, dove ancora si distingue la dolcezza del miele, il gusto delle mandorle seguite durante la tostatura, la cottura lenta a bagnomaria.
Il torrone lavorato ancora come una volta, da persone che amano la semplicità e che fanno della qualità il primo ingrediente, ricorderà sempre a noi sorelle quella “ dolce montagna bianca”.

Tosca Cremona is specialized in the traditional production of chocolate and in the use of high-standard raw materials. Tosca is popular for the production of the famous Cremonese graffione, pitted cherries in alcohol covered with dark chocolate. Moreover, Tosca proposes other products: some chocolate balls full of soft pistachio, nougat, hazelnut and extra dark creams, the covered candied fruit (oranges, lemons, pears, marron glacè and ginger). Tosca has recently started to produce four vegan spreads without milk: hazelnut, pistachio, coffee and peanuts taste.
