Sorella Musica
Ludovica Rana cello*
Beatrice Rana piano
*cello Antonio Stradivari “Stauffer” 1700
A very romantic program for this exceptional duo formed by Beatrice and Ludovica Rana, sisters from Salento who are now famous at an international level. Beatrice is coming off a triumphal season in which she played in the most accredited concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, while Beatrice is gradually climbing the peaks of success. On the occasion of the day dedicated to Stradivari, he is entrusted with the Stauffer cello that once belonged to Lisa Cristiani, friend and muse of Mendelssohn, author of which we will hear the Fantasy in G minor and the Sonata in D major, as well as pieces by Brahms and Schumann.
