Santissima Trinità Church
SS. Trinità Church can be considered a masterpiece of the Baroque art in Crema. It was built on a project by Andrea Noto from 1737 and 1740 and it has two facades: one is on XX Settembre Street, along the right side; the other one is southward oriented.
The decorations are very rich: half pilasters, frameworks and curved lines, stucco works and niches. The bell-tower is decorated with a statute of Jesus the Saviour.
The decorations in the inner part are very rich. The dome has an interesting perspective painted to represent a not-existing semi-circular space. Among the paintings of the chapels, there are the works by Pompeo Bartoni, Callisto Piazza and Fedrighetto.
