Trinity Church
The Church was built in 1263 on the track of the village’s ancient walls and, at the beginning, it was dedicated to St.Peter. Its current layout dates back to the year 1644 and it was defined by the restoration works of the School of Trinity Religious Group who arrived after the group of S. Peter Martyr. The building has a Renaissance aspect, the inner part has a single nave with four altars, two per each part. In the Church there is still a painting by Stefano Lambri that dates back to 1626, the famous Crocifissione con san Domenico e la Maddalena. The painting is placed in the apse, probably its original location. After the earthquake in 2012, the Church was restored twice, the works ended in December 2015. The entire building was stabilized, the roofing improved and the façade restored. Now, on the façade it is possible to see again the frescos of the lower niches and of the metopes.
