Les soirées of Monteverdi Music School
Concerts at night in the museums' courtyards
Sofia Manvati (violin) and Giorgio Lazzari (piano) are the protagonists of the concert take is taking place on Friday the 24th of July, at 7.30 p.m., in the court-yard of Affaitati Palace (Ugolani Dati Street, 4). The event is part of the initiative Music at the Museum and of the Festival Les soirées of Monteverdi Music School and it was organized by the Cultural Department of Cremona Municipality, together with Monteverdi Music School.
Concert's program: Sonata for piano and violin n. 10 op. 96: Allegro moderato; adagio espressivo; scherzo allegro; poco allegretto by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827), the Sonata for violin and piano op. 6: Assez mouvementé; Tranquillement; Vif di George Enescu (1881 – 1955) e Rapsodie de concert Tzigane di Maurice Ravel (1875 – 1937).
The event is free and a reservation is required. Anti Covid-19 regulations will be implemented and respected. If you want, it is is possible to combine the concert with a free guided tour to the Museum “Ala Ponzone” (by Crart at 9 p.m.), about the theme of Female Art. You must buy the entry ticket and make a reservation two hours before the tour calling the number 0372 407770 (max 10 people). For the entire Summer, at the Pictures' Gallery, at the Archaeological Museum and at the Natural History Museum will be organized special guided tours.
