L'Orchestra giovanile di Cremona Mousikè nasce nel 2006 come Laboratorio orchestrale del più ampio Progetto Mousikè. Promossa dall’Assessorato alle Politiche Educative e della Famiglia del Comune di Cremona, sostenuto dalla SMIM Vida e dalla Fondazione Stauffer, è rivolta alla popolazione giovanile della città.

The Young Orchestra Mousikè was born in 2006 as a music workshop of the wider project Mousikè. Promoted by the Educational and Family Department of Cremona Municipality, supported by Vida Lower Secondary School and by Stauffer Foundation, it is destined to the young citizens of Cremona.
Nowadays, the artistic and music level of the orchestra is quite high. The orchestra involves more than 70 young boys and girls from 8 to 18 years old and it represents an opportunity for all those who play an instrument and want to perform in an orchestra: it is and educational and training experience which can help the young people to improve.
The repertoire includes classic and modern/pop music.
