Palazzo Stanga Rossi di San Secondo
Built in the last decade of the 15th century by the Stanga Marquises, the palazzo has completely lost its 15th century appearance and the current building is the result of a 19th century restoration in a neo-Baroque style, with façade decoration consisting of mouldings, woven wrought ironwork and swifts. The Renaissance doorway, which used to adorn the entrance, sculpted in 1490, was removed at the end of the 19th century: it is currently housed in the Louvre, but a plaster cast of it can be admired in the Sala dei Quadri at the Town Hall.
